(Austin, TX) - Texans for Lawsuit Reform PAC today endorsed Van Taylor in Senate District 8.
Van Taylor is a principled conservative and an effective leader in the Texas Legislature. Rep. Taylor is an experienced and successful businessman who has a solid pro-tort reform record in the Texas House. He is acutely aware of the importance of lawsuit reform in creating jobs and strengthening the Texas economy, and TLR PAC is proud to endorse him.
Taylor is a businessman from Plano who was first elected to the Texas House in 2010. As a State Representative in the 83rd Legislative Session, Taylor served on the Insurance and Government & Efficiency Reform Committees. Prior to becoming a State Legislator, Taylor served in the United States Marine Corps. For his service in Iraq, he was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal with a “V” for Valor, the Combat Action Ribbon, and the Presidential Unit Citation.
Senate District 8 includes portions of Collin and Dallas Counties.
