More Civic Leaders Join in Support of Van Taylor for Texas Senate

Latest Round of Endorsements Show Strength in Eastern Portion of District


PLANO – Several more civic leaders today announced their endorsement for Van Taylor for Texas Senate. This latest round of endorsements come from well-known municipal and civic leaders across the eastern portion of the district and include Collin County Commissioner Chris Hill, Richardson City Councilman and former Mayor Steve Mitchell, Fairview Mayor Pro-Tem Henry Lessner, Murphy City Councilwoman Betty Spraggins, and former Dallas County GOP Chairman Bob Driegert of Richardson.

Collin County Commissioner Chris Hill stated, “Representative Taylor worked directly with the Commissioners Court to pass important legislation preventing healthcare fraud and abuse that ended up saving local tax payers millions. Van Taylor is locally driven and results oriented. I have seen his hard work firsthand and know that the people of Senate District 8 would be well served with Van as our next state senator.”
