Frisco Tea Party Leaders Endorse Van Taylor

PLANO, TX – Representative Van Taylor today announced that Frisco Tea Party leaders Lorie Medina and Toni and Tom Fabry have endorsed his campaign for Texas Senate.  This announcement comes after it was recently reported that Taylor earned the endorsement of several Frisco municipal and civic leaders.

An instrumental grassroots organizer in the election of Senator Ted Cruz, Co-Founder of the Frisco Tea Party*, and Chair of the Real Conservatives National Committee* Lorie Medina said, “Van Taylor is one of those conservative leaders that only come around so often. Van has proven able to apply his unshakable conservative value set with an unmatched work ethic to produce real results for our conservative cause here in Texas. With Senator Cruz fighting Obamacare and the unsustainable growth of the federal government at the national level, it is paramount that we have leaders like Van Taylor here in Texas to back him up at the state level to help keep the Obama Administration out of Texas.”

Frisco Tea Party* leaders Toni and Tom Fabry stated, “Van Taylor’s conservative voting record in the 82nd and 83rd Legislature and his leadership on key issues like fiscal responsibility, the second amendment, right to life, border security and economic growth have earned him our support for Texas Senate District 8.   Moreover, Van goes beyond ‘sound bites’ and has demonstrated a commitment to research and develop expertise in complex and diverse areas such as reservoirs permitting, parliamentary procedures and state budgeting.  Finally, in our conversations with Van, he has shown an intangible, but critical trait in a legislator:  a sincere interest in and the ability to actually listen to his constituents.”
